We noticed that the shepherd on the alp uses Swarovski binocles to spot where the cows are. Every time we met him, he had this device on his chest, staff in hand, and dog by his side. (or running around based on whistle signals). With my Swarovski, I can also follow the cow’s grazing routes from the hut. This way, the landscape is more challenging to read because we have not set foot there, and we only have seen it by the eye. What happens though informs me about its accessibility.
